1) How much do I have to pay for the service ? +

Our commission is two weeks worth of tuition fee. We will collect the first two weeks cycle tuition fee from the clients as our commission. You can collect the tuition fee from the clients from the 3rd week onwards. Even if the lesson is postponed, we will still collect the same amount of commission at the end of the two-week cycle.

2) Should I make any payment ? +

You don't have to pay us since we will collect the first two weeks cycle tuition fee from the client. However, if the client gives you the first two weeks cycle tuition fee directly, you will have to pay us on behalf of the client.

3) How can i get tuition assignments? +

Please download our apps to get notified on tuition assignments. Our coordinator will contact you if you are shorlisted. Download the apps now, click www.tuitionhero.sg/join-as-tutor/

4) What happens after i have been shortlisted? +

We will explain our terms to you, and we will request you to re-confirm your commitment to the tuition assignments. We will then send you the client's contact details, and you will be required to contact them to arrange for your classes.

5) What happens after the class has started? +

We will collect the first two weeks cycle tuition fee from the client, then you can collect from the third week onwards. If you need any kind of support, please let us know. We will try our best to assist you.

6) What happens if the client terminates the assignment within 1 month? +

Usually, we retain half of the fees collected and refund to you the remaining balance. For more info, please visit www.tuitionhero.sg/terms-for-tutor

7) Is there any contract in terms of period of assignment commitment? +

You are required to commit at least one month (4 weeks) of classes. After that, you are free to cancel the classes. For whatever reasons the tutor may need to terminate the assignment, he/she will be required to compensate a fee to Tuition Hero which is equivalent to 2 weeks cycle tuition fee or 50% of the first month tuition fee. We reserved the rights to claim the compensation if tutor did not show up on the lesson, attempted to vary the tuition agreement and etc. For complete terms for tutors, please visit www.tuitionhero.sg/terms-for-tutor

8) What is the minimum qualification required? +

Tutor will be required to have at least O-Level or similar qualifications.

9) Do I have to provide my certificates as proofs of my qualification? +

You are required to bring along a photocopy of your certificate on the first day of tuition. You should submit it to the client.
